what’s included, prices, how to book, what to pay and when
What’s included…
The price of your tour includes the following:
all your accommodation on the tour
a full cooked breakfast each morning
dinner every evening
entrance to all the gardens or other attractions listed in the itinerary
all transport within the tour
our service throughout the tour
We may also include refreshments or meals not listed above, but particular to your tour – e.g. morning coffee, picnic lunch, afternoon tea – and this will be clearly stated in the itinerary.
And what isn’t…
The price of the tour specifically excludes the following:
travel to the meeting point
dinner on the final day of the tour
alcoholic drinks
additional costs incurred by you at any of the gardens or other attractions, and any personal costs incurred by you during any free day
your travel insurance costs
newspapers, telephone calls, laundry and other sundry items and the costs of any additional administration
Prices
Prices are shown per person, sharing a twin or double room and per person, single occupancy and quoted in:
GBP – Pounds Sterling
USD – US Dollars
for anyone, anywhere, to purchase.
Prices are also quoted in:
EUR – Euros
for citizens of the EU or permanent residents of an EU member state only.
Payment method
Payment is by debit or credit card, paid online via Stripe, a safe and secure card payment processing company.
Exceptionally, we will accept payment (in Pounds Sterling/GBP only) by Bank Transfer, directly from your bank to ours. Please let us know at the time of booking.
Making a reservation
To make a reservation, click on the ‘BOOK’ button on any tour page, complete the online reservation form, and click ‘Send’.
We will acknowledge your reservation and invoice you for a voucher in your chosen currency. Once you have purchased your voucher, your place or places on the tour will be reserved for you.
If you cannot subsequently join the tour, you are free to join another tour, either in the same season or within three years.
Paying the balance
Balances fall due 84 days/12 weeks before the start of the tour, and we will email a new invoice to you in good time beforehand.
Last-minute reservations
If you reserve a tour within the 84-day/12-week period before the start of the tour, we will ask you to pay the full amount of the tour immediately.
Vouchers
Vouchers were introduced to add flexibility in the immediate post-Covid period when travel was far from certain. They are valid for three years from the month of issue and are transferable, but not refundable.
The price of a double voucher for two people is:

The price of a single voucher for one person is:

Currencies
You may maintain accounts in different currencies, but payments for any one tour must be in the same currency.
Pre-tour correspondence
We will email the whole group 13 weeks before the tour.
This email will introduce everyone in the group to one another, remind you that your balance is about to fall due, and ensure that you are aware of the UK ETA. It will also confirm exactly when and where we are meeting, and discuss any changes to the itinerary. It may also contain additional information or any last-minute instructions.
We will email you again, two weeks before the tour.
