Welcome to Adderley Travel

We specialise in small group garden tours throughout Britain – England, Scotland & Wales.

We operate other tours too. We operate history and heritage tours, we will happily plan your private, tailor-made tour and, every couple of years, we even go to France!

If you love gardens, enjoy good food and appreciate comfy, independent hotels – all in the company of a small group of like-minded individuals – then we’re your people.

Small groups

Our groups are small, no more than a dozen or so like-minded people. Likewise, with a few exceptions, the tour areas are of a manageable size too.

Good food

We eat well on our tours, and so we should. Britain produces some of the very best produce, and we enjoy showcasing it at superb local pubs and restaurants.

Comfortable hotels

A good night's sleep is key to a contented customer, so we sleep well too. We seek out comfortable, independent hotels, preferably family-run places in attractive locations.

Our founding principles

From day one, we had a clear vision of what may attract like-minded garden lovers to join us – and central to that vision were our three founding principles.

Since our first tours in 2000 we have welcomed almost thirty different nationalities, including Americans from most States of the US – and we are especially proud that so many customers return to us each year, some returning year after year.
